SHORT BIO
Dr. Chan is developing a research program on applying micro-economic and game theories to study the optimal design of green finance policies. His research on sustainable and green finance taxonomies has been cited by policy thinktanks and the news, and has informed the Hong Kong Monetary Authority in developing the Hong Kong Taxonomy for Sustainable Finance. His research team has been nominated by HKUST for the prestigious ‘Insight Investment – University of Oxford Prize for Greening Finance’ in 2023.
